Ensign Smackdown: Yes, the PCs Did It

Another one bites the dust.
Sen. John Ensign, R-NV announced today that he will not seek re-election.

Citing the consequences of an affair with a staffer's wife, the two term senator's announcement brings to eight the number of Republican senators who will not seek re-election in 2012.

Several PCs from Clark County, NV contacted Unified Patriots and let us know about some conversations they had been having with Ensign and with Ensign's staff.  Every one of these contacts had mentioned to Ensign their plans to present a primary challenger in the NV senate race.

Clark County, NV is Las Vegas.  As goes Clark County, so usually goes the rest of sparsely populated NV.   And this author happens to know that Clark County has a particularly strong PC movement determined to bring true conservative values back to the Republican Party.

Early reports from other new sources indicate that Sharron Angle will not be seeking the seat.
